Conference Venue

Conference Check-in & On-site registration will be in the lobby on the 2nd floor.
Technical Talks & Poster Session 2 will be held on the 3rd floor, rooms 301-305.

University of Alaska Museum of the North, 1962 Yukon Dr, Fairbanks, AK 99775
The Museum is located approximately 1 mile/1.6km from the conference venue. It is an easy 15-20 minute walk. Alternatively, you can use the campus shuttle leaving from UAF Wood Center (Live Bus Tracker) but please note that campus shuttles stop running at 18:00/6 PM during the summer.

Transportation will be provided to these destinations. Please meet at the UAF Wood Center Bus Stop by 12:35 (after lunch pick-up). Buses will depart promptly at 12:45.
A parking permit is required for visitors Monday to Friday, 8:00-17:00/8 a.m.-5 p.m. Parking is free for visitors after 5 p.m./17:00 and on weekends and holidays.
Parking passes can be obtained at a kiosk, or by using the PassportParking mobile app. Permit rates: $1.50 per hour or $6 per day.

The campus map shows available parking on campus. Please note that the parking lots closest to the conference venue (green colored on the map) are designated for short-term parking only (maximum 2 hours). Use the yellow colored lots for day parking. The closest lot is 8A downhill from and to the north-east of the conference venue.

Breakfast & Lunch
Conference attendees will be offered a light breakfast and lunch on each day of the conference. On Thursday, lunch will be provided as a bag/boxed lunch to accommodate the event schedule in the afternoon.
Snacks
Light snacks are available during coffee breaks.
Dinner
The Opening Reception on Monday features appetizers/light meal options.
Dinner is included in the Closing Reception on Thursday.
Dinner will not be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Attendees will be responsible for making their own dinner arrangements and have the opportunity to explore local dining options (ask your organizers for recommendations!).
You will have access to the university’s secure Wi-Fi during the conference. A special login will be provided to you at check-in.
If your home university/institution participates in eduroam, you should be able to automatically connect to our campus Wi-Fi using your existing credentials as long as your devices are already configured for eduroam before arriving.
